Chamomile

Latin name: Matricaria recutita

Native to: Europe, Asia, North America, South America, Australia

Benefits: Chamomile supports feelings of relaxation and peace. Aids in a restful night’s sleep. Helps ease menstrual cycles and gas/indigestion. Chamomile can promote relaxation when used as a tea, and it elicits the same effect when smoked.

When used as a smoking herb, chamomile can support the nervous system and ease stress & anxiety, while also supporting digestion and combating things like an upset stomach and menstrual discomfort. It has a fairly strong calming sensation on your muscles, by decreasing any twitches or restlessness.
