Calendula

Latin name: Calendula officinalis

Native to: Mediterranean countries

Benefits: Calendula is not the same as Marigold. Calendula has a significant amount of flavonoids, which are plant based antioxidants, that can protect cell damage from free radicals. Antioxidants such as lutein, lycopene, and beta-carotene. Calendula has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial benefits and has helped with fighting inflammation, viruses, and bacteria. Calendula has also been  used to treat stomach discomfort and relieve menstrual cramps. The flower has a well known reputation for wound healing. 

Calendula petals and flowers are known to increase restful sleep, induce better dreams while sleep and help remember dreams more clearly. When smoked, the bright orange-yellow flower petals help to create a wonderful and balanced herbal smoke blend that burns evenly and taste smooth. Smoking calendula with marijuana is an enlightening experience. The two herbs blend together very well and will help pro long your stash.
